As an industry, we have to rely on expedited means of shipping and/or protected freight. We work with perishable goods—slow shipping just won’t cut it. For un-rooted cuttings coming in from off-shore that means FedEx, UPS and various airlines. For rooted cuttings and plug seedlings that are outside the trucking capacities of the supplier, reliance is on the same carriers, FedEx, UPS and various airlines. All of us know that anytime cuttings go in a plane costs go up.
